What is Clause 60?

Assessing an NEC compensation event properly is slow, detailed work. Someone experienced has to read the whole pack, follow the cost build-up line by line, check it against the contract and the Schedule of Cost Components, and test whether the claimed time impact really holds up against the programme. It is done under deadline pressure, event after event, and a missed point is money lost.
Clause 60 was founded by Sheldon Wright MCICES, the director of Wright Commercial Consultants, to make that work fast, consistent and repeatable. It produces a structured, section-by-section first-pass review of each event, covering contractual basis, cost, time and programme, and risk, which you check and put your name to. Every finding is cited to your documents, and anything missing is flagged rather than assumed.
